I'm not really sure how to feel about the Nordstrom Sale this year. It's usually the first thing that kicks off fall and all the excitement around that time of year.This year obviously feels different. I like that the sale is later in the summer. I don't like that you have to shop in tiers. I like that you can preview it early, but I don't like not having anywhere to wear your new clothes.

Before any sale, you always want to take inventory of what you already have in your closet! You'll find you have a lot more than you think and its a good time to narrow down what you need as to not overspend and go crazy during a sale. 

I always do this before the Nordstrom sale because it reminds me of what I already have (most from past Nordstrom sales!) and what I'm looking to fill out come fall and summer. Fun fact: a lot of my favorite items I have in my closet are included in this year's sale -- it's going to be a fun one!
