What I Bought From the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

The Nordstrom Sale is open to ambassadors as of 9:30am this morning and I wanted to share what I decided to buy from the sale and how I ended up shopping for everything with two clicks!!
I just wanted to start out by saying I bought a lot. More than I was expecting to or actually need BUT I promise I did it for a good reason. 1. I want to try these on IRL and see how they fit. Sometimes things SUCK in real life and others they're so much better than they appear online. So this is basically like a fitting room order since I can't go into the store.
And (more importantly) 2. I wanted to buy and test out these things so you don't have to. I know a lot of people are out of work or are looking to really cut back on spending so I wanted to try and find some versatile options for life now and later, try and find items that weren't crazy expensive and also find things that people aren't really talking about.
Most things should come in on Monday so I will share them with you here and on stories in a (always) unbiased review. If it sucks, you'll know. So hopefully by the time you're able to shop, you'll know exactly what you want and what you don't!
Speaking of shopping the sale, I thought it went live at 3am ET last night (which it usually does) but this year they didn't open access for this level until 9:30am ET -- which is good to know for anyone else still shopping -- so I ended up shopping early but not being able to check out.
So what I did was added everything I wanted to buy on a wishlist on the website and when 9:30 rolled around, I went to the list, clicked "select all", "add to bag" then checked out. It was that easy. Maybe I'm the last person to ever use this feature but it was REALLY helpful when checking out! And nothing sold out so that was good!
ANYWAY here's everything I bought. Wanted to call out a few things here and there but overall this is just to show you what's coming down the line!

1 // Barbour Pilton Quilted Jacket, 2 // Doncaster Quilted Jacket, 3 // Waxed Rain Jacket, 9 // Riselaw Rain Coat -- These were a BIG seller for me last year and I wanted to review these new styles and compare them to the Barbour jackets I have! Any time Barbour goes on sale, I'm your girl lol.

4 // Topshop Square Necked Bodysuit -- I've recently fallen in love with bodysuits and want to see how this compares to the Walmart and Free People one I have!

5 // Ralph Lauren Military Wool Coat, 10 // Kenneth Cole Notch Collar Sherling Coat -- The NSale is always a great time to find a new coat for fall and winter. The RL one was a little expensive but I own three RL coats that have lasted me years so I want to see if this will be worth it. And the shearling coat I'm excited but nervous for. Usually, these make me look HUGE.

6 // Halogen Houndstooth Knit Jacket -- I realllllyyyy like how this looks. I'm hoping it's as great in person. 

7 // Chelsea 28 Off the Shoulder Sweater, 8 // Leith Ribbed Off the Shoulder Sweater, 11 // Theory Short Sleeved Cashmere Sweater -- I also love stocking up on sweaters during the sale!! I don’t really need anymore but I loved the look of both the off the shoulder sweaters (I'll let you know which one is better) and of COURSE, I had to get the cashmere t-shirt. My favorite thing of the sale. 

12 // 1. State Lace Insert Camisole -- I have this tank version so I wanted to compare the new style for you guys!

1 // Whit and Wisdom Ab-Solution Distressed High Waist Ankle Jeans, 3 // AG Farrah High Waist Ankle Skinny Jeans, 8 // Levi's 721™ High Waist Skinny Jeans -- Tried to really focus on testing out more affordable jeans for you guys from the sale! Somehow my favorite AG denim just *slipped* in there lol.

2 // Gibbson Jogger Pants, 6 // Alo Airlift High Waist Leggings, 7 // BP Fleece Shorts, 9 // BP Tie Die Joggers -- These are for the lazy days at home during the pandemic!! Hopefully great for fall and winter when you want to cozy up.

4 // BP Faux Leather Leggings, 5 // Nordstrom Faux Leather Leggings -- I have the Spanx and Commando versions of these leggings so I wanted to round them *all* up to do a review guide for you, letting you know which ones to buy and which ones to avoid.

1 // Sam Edelman Davis Knee High Boot -- I have a pair of Sam Edelman high boots that I LIVE IN in the fall and wanted to see if these are a better version of them since mine are over three years old!

2 // Brixton Straw Hat -- I have this hat in three colors and it is THE BEST HAT and super affordable so you know I snatched up this color right away. 

3 // Makeup Eraser Cloth Set -- I'm really intrigued by this honestly. I love my makeup eraser so I'm interested to see what this is all about lol.

4 // Hanky Panky Thong -- I've heard SO MANY good things about Hanky Panky but I've never tried them. I have all my underwear from Target (which are dupes for this brand) but they sadly don't make them like they used to! So I'm going to see what these are all about.

5 // Almond Shower Oil Duo Set, 9 // Drybar Dry Shampoo, 7 // Supergoop! Defense Refresh Setting Mist -- These are things I already own and LOVE but backups and extras. Can't say no to a good deal.

6 // Marc Fisher Oshay Pointed Toe Bootie, 12 // Steve Madden Kaylah Pointed Toe Bootie -- Going to compare these two!

8 // Le Pliage Expandable Tote -- I want to throw this in a giveaay for you guys! I LIVED in my Le Pliage tote in college it just holds everything. Like a Mary Poppins bag!

10 // Zella Studio Lite Longline Bra, 11 // Zella Longline Bra -- I live in Zella sports bras so I'm excited to try these two out. Especially since I'm a BIG fan of shopping for longer bras to wear with high waisted leggings. 

13 // Tula Skin Care Set -- Ok guys.... if you get ONE thing from the sale, let it be this. This is *literally* a set of all my favorite things. I bought this for a giveaway to you guys but omg omg omg. YES

14 // Alexander McQueen Cat Eye Sunglasses -- I meannnnnnn why not? Right. This was my totally irrational purchase for no good reason.
