My Most Worn Shirt (Ever)

There are very few things that I will wear down to the bone and then re-buy. There are even fewer things I've worn since college that I still wear today. Most of them have been upgrades from something like Target to AG, but I thankfully have the same style.

But there has been one item (in many colors) that has stood the test of time: my Ralph Lauren Oxford.

When I say it's my most worn shirt it's not an understatement. I had over 32 tabs of blog posts (dating back to 2013) open last night where I wore a RL oxford before my computer crashed. And since I re-wear a lot more IRL than here on the blog, you can only imagine how much I've worn this shirt since buying it.

I have it in white, blue, denim and striped. And if we're being totally honest, I have two white ones and two blue ones because I wear them that much!! In college I also had a solid yellow and purple as well as a pink striped one, but I found I wore them less and less so I narrowed down my color range.

So why do I love it so much? First and foremost, it's a classic. It is like *the* classic shirt. It can never go out of style. I also love it because it goes with everything, and I mean everything. It goes over clothes, under them, and pairs perfectly with a dress or shorts. It just seems to work. I love layering it in the fall and winter and wearing it in the summer with shorts or in the spring with jeans. I love it tucked in, tied or rolled up. I just love this shirt.

It's great to wear to work, out with your friends, weekends with the family or any occasion. If I could suggest one thing for your forever closet, it would be this oxford.

For sizing, I wear a M in the custom fit (pictured above) and I think a M in the slim fit but it really is a more fitted shirt.
