Knit Dress For Work in the Summer Heat

Happy Monday! I'm back with what feels like the first fashion post I've done all month. Not going to lie, I'm in a total rut with clothing lately. I just don't have any motivation in this heat to be cute!

SHOP MY LOOK HERE:

Parker: Shea Sweater Dress / J. Crew Factory: Block Heels (on sale for $30!) / Senreve: Midi Maestra Bag c/o BaubleBar: Mini Monogam Necklace Cartier: Tank Francaise Watch Tiffany: Pearl Bracelet DiamondNexus: Tennis Bracelet c/o / David Yurman: Pearl Earrings

I know it seems counterintuitive to wear a sweater dress in the summer heat, but hear me out. It's actually kind of perfect. The dress is strapless and doesn't hug too much of your body so you're covered there. But think about it this way: if you sweat, it won't show! The material is thick enough to not look wet.

I recently wore this look to work and got a ton of compliments on the dress. I loved it because it's hotter than hell in the city and I could wear a dress (and bike to work in it) without looking like a mess. I also (obviously) love the colors. I think it makes my shoulders look really nice and toned too! I don't have many bad things to say about it lol.

But (again, broken record) I have to talk about these shoes. They are the best shoes out there and I swear to you that if you get them you will not regret it. They are starting to run low in stock so please, please, please snag them while you can. They are the most comfortable heels I have ever owned! They are now on sale for 50% + 15% off with the code COOLOFF making them a cool $29.99.
