Weekend Update: February 7

Sheesh! What an end to a gloomy week in NYC -- with more GLOOM! I'm excited to be getting out of the house this weekend and hanging with some friends for a weekend away!!
(video ^ of my current makeup routine)

NYC Life: This week was SO GLOOMY and it really got to me! Being alone and essentially stuck inside sucked. But hoping for a brighter week next week! Andrew and I were able to knock out two more (our last two) Oscar movies this week: Little Women and Ford v Ferarri. Both great, great movies. Little Women though... WOW I am here for it and I need to see it a million times again. So good.

I was able to stop by the Fossil store for a project and was able to get a couple things embossed and engraved for free (like this bag and this bracelet)! Every Fossil store offers this complimentary service too -- buy in-store or online and if it's able to be customized, they will do it for you! [Here are some currated Valentie's Day gifts if you need ideas!]

It is also fashion week in New York and while I don't really go to events, I did make my way to two non-fashion events yesterday. The first being with Tarte! They invited me over to get my makeup done and its always just so fun to sit there and be pampered. Plus, this was one of the first times in a long time a makeup artist did something I loved! It was a perfectly natural, dewy look that left me glowing for my second event...

Product of the Year award show. I was invited as part of a campaign a few weeks back and truth be told, I had never heard of it before but it's partly why I took it on! The idea is brilliant -- over 40,000 people vote on the best lifestyle/home/pet product of the year and so it's a full list of the best of the best. I mean I personally am a very loyal shopper to brands so the idea of a list being created like this, it holds a lot of weight! You can see all the winners from last night here. And be on the lookout because we're giving away a FULL bag of products away this weekend on my Instagram!!

Weekend Plans: I am off to Vermont this weekend for a friend's bachelorette! I'm excited to get a weekend away with my friends and make some new friends! It's going to be collllldddd in Vermont this weekend so hopefully, I packed enough lol. I'm just bringing my LL Bean XL tote. It's seriously the best bag ever.

I get back on Sunday hopefully in time to catch part of the Oscars! I was able to see all the movies nominated in the major categories except for Pain and Glory, which I am ok with since it was only up for one award! There were some great movies this year!!
