Weekend Update: January 31

Maybe it's just me but I felt like Januarys in the past dragged on forever and this one seriously flew by!! It was a pretty terrible month for the world though. Hoping February can bring some better days! Here's more about my week:

What I Bought:
-These super cute white pearl heart earrings
-Doing an upcoming post with DSW and I grabbed some new kicks!! These black sneakers for the gym, a pair of classic Reeboks, and these SUPER cute white and blue Adidas
-This white Ted Baker top that I once borrowed from a friend! It's on double sale and I'm so happy I found it!!
-A water bottle and a foam roller
-Bought a pair of P448 sneakers to compare to Golden Goose

NYC Life: Admittedly I didn't do much this week outside of work. The winter definitely keeps me indoors more and outside of walking the dogs every day, and my workouts 2x a week, I'm pretty much always at my desk. Thankfully I've gotten better about using my desk and computer space more this month which really helps me be in a more "working" mode. But man, I'm getting the winter blues!! The only thing really keeping me going is the sunny days and the amount of natural light this apartment gets. It's unreal and I love it!

On Wednesday Ashby and I did go out for a Galentine's Day event that Grace was hosting at Catch Steak in Chelsea. One of my favorite restaurants in the city is Catch so I was excited to try out the new place (almost) across the street!

I also knocked off three(?) Oscar movies this week: Richard Jewell, Joker, and Bombshell. I only have 5 left to see: Harriet, Little Women, Pain and Glory, A Beautiful Day in the Neighboorhood and Ford vs Ferarri. So far 1917 has been my favorite of the season. Runners up would be Parasite, Jojo Rabbit, Knives Out and Richard Jewell. My least favorite has been Joker -- it just did not sit well with me!!

Weekend Plans: It's going to be a busy weekend! Andrew and I are shooting about 5 things tomorrow morning, then heading off to a cooking class in the afternoon! We're taking a pizza-making class at ICC and we're helping promote a Valentine's Day special they're running where you can get $100 off a class for two people from now until 2/14 -- and it lasts for a year! So it's a great experience gift to give to a loved one!!

Then on Sunday, we'll be running more errands, shooting anything we weren't able to get through, and then it's the Super Bowl! Andrew's mom hosts her (very famous) SB party where there is a menu of items printed out so people know what to fill up on and what not to lol. There will be a TON of food... I'm excited!

Favorite Finds:
-Dudley Stephens just dropped their Cobble Hill in my favorite camel color!!
-My honeymoon hat is back in stock but it now comes in white and I'm in love
-The most amazing Chanel slingback dupes
-An affordable pearl bag
-I am FEELING these jeans!!

A Must Watch: Being selfish, I think you should watch our wedding video!! Get your tissues ready lol. If you want something else, I personally have been watching this Demi Lovato Grammy performance all week. This is the last song she wrote before her OD and (I think) her first time performing it. It's very sad but very beautiful. She is so talented.

A Must Listen: I just listened to NPR's "How I Built This" with the founder of JetBlue, David Neeleman and it was so good. Its such a crazy, insightful, wild and sad story. Andrew and I are very loyal JetBlue fans so I was so interesting to hear how it all got started.

Most Popular Item of the Week: My new Dudley Stephens Brighton Boatneck!! I just recently purchased it in the off-white color and I've been loving it.

Amazon Purchases:
-$30 leggings that I LOVE OMG truly amazing
-And some $30 joggers that are super soft
-A little something different -- brown leather sneakers
-Random BUT I've been loving snacking on these fruit leathers
-Andrews birthday gift (he said the AirPods didn't "work" for him...)
