But now it's summer and I want to mix things up a bit. One of my favorite things about our Chelsea office is how casual it is. I love getting to wear my white jeans in the summer and I have so much fun styling all of the outfits around my jeans. But for the other office I found myself still wearing the same old black or blue pants.
That was until J. Crew put out their summer colors.
I was *this* close to buying the bright peri color (and still might go back for them!) but decided to give the business casual white pants a shot. Obviously white pants can be a little scary for the work office environment but I think these are perfect. They are thick, are not at all see through, are perfectly tailored and fit like a glove!
I ordered a size 6 -- my normal size in J. Crew; a smaller size than my normal size 8 -- and they are great. They are stretchy but not the kind of pant to stretch out and get baggy. You can tell they are made well and are made of the the most amazing fabric.
I'm not big on pockets so I left the two up from stitched closed but from what I can see they are deep and look like they can hold a phone! The only downside to these business casual white pants (IMO) is that the pockets are white (instead of nude) so they do show an outline on the pants. But I don't think it's anything serious worth not buying them over.
So in long: I LOVE these business casual white pants for work. J. Crew has been going c-r-a-z-y with all of their sales so try and snag them in one of their sales!!
