I wanted to title this post "wear what makes you happy" because this summer outfit makes me happy. I love nothing more in the spring/summer than to wear a sweater + shorts combination. It's just so simple and easy to wear and I think because it's so opposite it works.

I bought this sweater from the RL store last summer on Nantucket and every week I stop myself from buying the navy version of it as well. The sweater is just the perfect summer sweater, it will never go out of style and you knowwww I love me some navy! But of course I need another navy sweater like a need a hole in my head lol.

And these shorts (!!!) I love. I've been looking for a great and easy pair of white shorts for summer that aren't denim, that aren't too short and that aren't see through. You'd be surprised at how much harder it may seem to find these.

The weird thing is whenever I post about shorts on the blog, you guys don't really like them! I'm not sure if it's me or if it's them but here we are. I ordered these in a M and L and while the M fit, they kind of rode up while I walked and I ended up feeling more comfortable in the L. They're $69 and so far they have held up really well -- I've already worn them a handful of times since getting them in a few weeks ago.

This is just an summer outfit that maybe not be "blog worthy" but is something I wear on a constant basis and that makes me happy!
