One of my favorite kind of work looks (for when I'm at my casual office, or Friday's at our business casual office) is the blazer and jean combo. I think it's just a fun way on a traditional look and it always looks so put together -- even if you're wearing a t-shirt under the blazer!
Blazers can go with jeans, skirts, leggings, work pants, dresses --- you can really dress them so many ways and it's why I always chose to invest in so many variations of blazers.
When I saw this tweed blazer I fell in love. I'm a really big fan of the Halogen brand (and I also know it runs a size big so I'm wearing a Small here!) because they are relatively affordable and always have really cute and classic pieces that hold up for years in my wardrobe.
But of course we can't talk about closet staples without talking about this cami. Every girl in america needs a white cami in their closet. You'd be surprised at how often you'll wear it, reach for it and need it to complete any look! J. Crew just re-released their basic camis and I've already reordered a black and a white one for the coming year. I'm a firm believer that one is never enough.
