So let's back up and talk about my eyebrow situation before RevitaBrow...

I've never had strong eyebrows, plain and simple; neither do my mom or sister. It just doesn't seem to run in the family. I used to pluck and wax them in high school and early college but I realized I had such little brow coverage it didn't actually matter what I did to them. So I let them grow.

Last time I got my eyebrows done was four years ago when I was first in the city. I went with a friend, had a pleasant time and haven't touched them since.

Outside of not really having eyebrows, I have a bad habit of rubbing my eyebrows when I'm sitting around. It's a weird tick to have and I picked it up from my dad and also a mix of sucking my thumb when I was younger. So I was convinced that I rubbed all my hairs off and that was that. Nothing a little brow wiz pencil couldn't fix when needed.

It wasn't until I saw Jess's Instagram story where she mentioned her eyebrows were growing like crazy because of this RevitaBrow serum she was using. I bought it with no expectations going in. I bought the smaller .05 oz bottle to just truly try it out before fully committing. That was on March 31st.

I started using the RevitaBrow serum on my brows twice a day (after I washed my face; before I put on anything else) about five time a week. After the first month I remember thinking that my eyebrows looked ok but nothing life changing. But I bought more RevitaBrow because it had become part of my daily routine. So I sprang for another .05oz bottle on May 8th.

It was around MDW when I saw some photos where I didn't recognize myself. My eyebrows were SO DARK and I was like, "who dat?" I thought it was weird lighting in the house and moved on. Then last week I noticed the same thing in a photo booth at a bar (where there was great lighting) and started to think that my brows really did change.

And I was in no way planning on anything coming out of this and especially had zero intention of writing about it on the blog to review until last night.

I was at a friend's place for dinner and she asked if I had anything on my brows (which I never do unless I'm wearing a full face of makeup) and I told her no and mentioned I was using this RevitaBrow serum. She's never been a fan of my non-existent brows and did a bit of a double take last night at the new-and-improved things above my eyes.

So on my way home I started to look through old photos and oh. my. god. My eyebrows have GROWN. They are longer and so much darker and thicker. Where I once had a dry patch (you can see it in the image where my hair is braided) I now have a ton of new hair. It's insane.

Since I don't really take a lot of selfies without makeup on, I really had to dig into some archive photos that were never meant to see the light of day and also snap some new ones to show the comparison!

I'm shook.

It is truly night and day and I wasn't even expecting it. Hell, I didn't even really notice until two months in.

The RevitaBrow serum is the easiest thing to put on and I really like it because it kinds of holds my brows in place (until I start messing with them of course). I've had ZERO side effects and I'm one of the most sensitive people on this planet. Truly the only thing I've noticed different is that they are thicker, darker, softer and longer.

I think the photos speak for themselves. I'm still in shock, honestly. As I just figured out that I have eyebrows for the first time in 27 years lol.

So if you want to experience what I have, you can check out the brow serum HERE or take a peek at their whole line of products -- for eyelashes too! -- HERE
