If you remember, this was my look when visiting One World Trade a few weekends ago. I wanted a no-fuss, easy and breezy kind of dress. Something perfect for the summer heat but cute enough to romp around in all day.

I can't tell you how many compliments I got on this dress when I was downtown! It made ya girl feel extra special. All clothes should make you feel this good!

When I was finding it online for you all, I realized the "dress" I came to know and love is actually a tunic? Who knew. I can definitely see it as a tunic on some, but for me it was perfect! I'm 5' 6" and I bought a medium and belted it (as you can see above) and was good to go. The wind kicked it up while walking down to the subway and I wish I could say that was the only time it ever happened.

I'm not kidding when I say it was breezy! I tried to size down since it was a bit flowy (now I know why) around the waist, but the small was a little too short for my taste and was tight around my chest. Medium worked better.

I originally was going to pair the dress with my Jack Rogers but I decided for a little more support during the day so I went with the ever-popular All Stars. I think whatever shoe I would have worn that day would have had my feet barking but these sure did ease the pain!
