I did like that it give my outfit this pop of color and a touch of something different. I basically treated the bandana as a scarf or a necklace and went on my way.
I also thought it was fun to pair a bandana with a classic outfit of white shirt and jeans. I think if I could wear one outfit my entire life, it would consist of a white shirt and a nice pair of jeans. How about you?
You might remember my shirt from my trip to Smorgasburg. I wear this top all the time and really love it. It's a fun new twist on a classic white tank (and I love the back of it too).
This is also my first pair of destroyed denim (eek!). I've never been one to support wearing jeans that are already ruined, but I got this pair from a magazine shoot with People Style Watch and I found them to actually be really tasteful. Plus, I love AG jeans so they can do no wrong in my book.

I think you look super cute! it probably just takes some getting used to!
ReplyDeleteThose jeans fit you like a GLOVE!!! I am actually jealous of how perfect they look on you hahaa.
ReplyDeleteAnd I have actually been really into the whole bandana "trend" this summer too and found that I felt a little silly with it around my neck (I think the ends needed to be shorter so it wasn't sticking out if you know what I mean?) but I have had one attached to a wicker crossbody all summer and absolutely love it that way. So you might try it on a handbag for that pop of color without feeling like you're being choked ;)
