Affordable Holiday Looks

Happy (almost) December! As the holiday season is quickly approaching (where did 2022 go???) I wanted to share some affordable holiday looks with you guys.

Thanks to Walmart for sponsoring today's post!

I'm all for affordable holiday looks these days because 99% of the time, I'm going to be chasing a baby around on the floor or getting spit up on. But I wouldn't have it any other way! So this year I'm opting for more of a dressed-up casual look -- one that can move with me without getting in the way or showing spills/dirt easily.

I adore this red sweater and will probably end up wearing it all winter long. It's really very soft and super easy to wear over just about anything --- or on its own! I think I have earrings that are very similar to these jeweled buttons too that would be a fun tie-in for any outfit. My black quilted sweater is actually part of a set with matching sweatpants but I thought the puff in the sleeve and the quilting of the top called for a little something more than a sweatsuit pairing!

Then we come to the highlight of the look: my new favorite jeans. I'm trying (as I may) to opt for more non-skinny jean options but I feel like I'm always coming up short. So I found these bootcut jeans that are not only stretchy but are super high-waisted. They also have (what I call) a very trendy slit on the side that makes them almost a little more flare than bootcut. I love that from the side you can see the shoe in a fun/new way.

I also had my eye on a few more holiday outfits from Walmart that I wanted to put together for you guys below. I hope you're able to find something you love and not break the bank doing it!
