Sometimes there are outfits I wear that are so true to me and this -- I would have to say -- is one of them. The gingham jacket, a red lip, a little bit of scallop and cable-knit, my favorite navy accessories ... what more could I possibly want?
The gingham boucle jacket is TTS and has no stretch to it. I would only wear it open so I didn't try buttoning it across my chest. I'm wearing a 6 for reference and I think it's perfect. I love the detailing along the edges that make it a new twist on an old classic. I can for sure see myself wearing this for many years to come.
My scallop tank is a re-buy this year because they finally came back in stock! I LOVE the scallop tanks from J. Crew and you should too. They are perfect for just about everything and everyone should have at least one white tank in their closet. I can't tell you how many times I've worn this top over the past three years!
As for my cable knit skirt, I was SO excited to get this, I can't even start to tell you. I have a similar skirt from a couple years back that I've worn so much it's starting to get holes. Cable-knit skirts are such a dark horse. No one truly understands how great they are to have and wear. First off, they are extremely comfortable seeing as there is no hard fabric and all stretch. Second, it transitions SO well from season to season but truly shines in the shoulder months. It also runs TTS as I am wearing a medium above!
