The Perfect Shirtdress for Spring

So... yes, there are less than ideal things about being a blogger. One of those things being you need to be ahead of the season. Like when we have a blizzard one day and you need to shoot a sleeveless dress in 11-degree weather the next, you gotta do it.

This was probably one of the quickest shoots Andrew and I have ever done because we were both involuntarily crying from the brisk (to put it mildly) weather. But you'd never know right? What I'm looking at from my direction is Andrew with my Canada Goose between his legs ready to pop it out and give it to me to warm up/not get hypothermia between shots. But you gotta do what you gotta do. I already used up my indoor dress shoot plan so this was our only option.

Either way, this dress is actually a new favorite in my closet. It's perfectly me and I cannot wait to wear it when the weather actually becomes more appropriate. It fits perfectly, is under $50 and basically embodies my style for warm weather (I pack up my jeans and go for anything white or gingham).

Now I just have to wait 2 1/2 more weeks until I'll be soaking in the Saint Lucia sun at my sister's wedding!!!!
