It has been a hot minute since I've posted anything apartment related on the blog. There have been a ton of changes in my apartment since you guys last saw, but I learned it is one of the slowest moving processes ever! But I do have my bathroom done (thanks to Wayfair) and I thought I would show you guys around!
Birch Lane: Lotion Dispenser / Toothbrush Holder / Tumblr (holding my pencils) / Soap Dish / Cotton Jar (holding my brushes) / Tissue Box (not pictured) / Tray / Waste Basket all c/o / August Grove: Toile Shower Curtain c/o / Curtain Hooks: old (similar here)
I prefer to keep everything super organized especially when it comes to toiletries because otherwise you'd literally never find anything. Before I just had a simple tray and a soap dispenser but I soon realized with all the items I have in the bathroom, it just simply wasn't enough!
For a girl who doesn't wear a ton of makeup, I sure do have a lot of it and these items from Birch Lane have helped me put everything into place. It's also kind of fun to have everything out in the open, it helps make sure everything is used more!
Forgive me for not getting a totally full shot of the bathroom in it's entirety -- it's just so small I literally couldn't fit it all in without getting the door or extra walls in. That's NYC living for ya... Also I noticed the light above my mirror was out (who knew) wheres Lightbulb Man when you need him??
I would love to hear what you guys think and if you're ready for a full apartment tour! You can see my full past tour HERE and what my bathroom used to look like HERE (0:25 second mark in the video at the bottom).

Pretty blues!

Yes! Please do an updated apartment tour! Also, could you maybe could post some facts about living in NYC. For example, where you live is there a laundry room for tenants to use? If so, are you ever scared someone is going to steal your clothes out of the washer or dryer? Random I know, lol but I'm just curious.
ReplyDeleteLove the little details of the brush/makeup storage! Very pretty :)
ReplyDeleteObsessed with all of the blue & white! I am moving next week (out of the parents house, yay!) so I will definitely be referring to this for inspo :)

Just an FYI, it's not a great idea to store makeup in the bathroom. The steam and humidity from your shower can lead to bacteria growing on the makeup, which will cause it to go bad a lot faster than if it were kept in a dry environment. Otherwise, I love the way you decorated!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love it! So smart to add that rolling cart next to the sink for added counter space!
