My New Favorite Jeans

I need to tell you about these jeans I cannot stop wearing. But I need to get something out first...

Jane High-Rise Skinny

Back in 2016, Mott and Bow sent me a pair of jeans. I wasn't really sure who they were or what their jeans were like but I gave it a shot and ended up really loving the pair they sent in. I loved them so much that I was wearing them on the daily and they became my favorite jeans.

And here is where I need to confess... I never linked them on the blog because I didn't think they worked with affiliate links. So I would always end up wearing my AG Farrah pair on the blog and  posting about those. AND TO BE FAIR I really do love my AG jeans -- that was never a lie. I have upwards of 10 pairs of AG and are just about the only jeans I buy... well bought.

My obsession started with AG back in 2014 and has grown rapidly ever since. They make great jeans -- they stay true to their shape, they never fade, they're comfortable... I could go on. But the one thing that has always been a hard pill to swallow is the price. You're paying for the quality of jean. It was something I (obviously) was always good with since I own so many but it was never a fun thing to buy.

OK we're totally getting off topic so lets make a hard right back to my point. I loved these Mott and Bow jeans but never posted about them. Then in mid January they reached out again to send me a pair of jeans and I was like ohhhh yeaaaa. Yes yes yes I will take a new pair.

The first pair were the Jane high rise in dark blue with an inseam of 30. They're great I ordered a 29 which is what I take in jeans and it's perfect. So with the second pair, I decided to switch it up and try out the Jane high rise in medium blue with an inseam of 28 (which is what I'm wearing above) in a size 28. Decided to size down because they do give a little over time and in my waist especially, I've lost some weight. The 28s fit like a dream.

I think I got this new pair in mid to late January and above are all the times I've been pictured wearing them. Now think about how many times I was wearing them and didn't snap a photo. I'm obsessed. I think they are the perfect pair of jeans -- the wash, the rise, the length -- everything.

I'm obviously biased when it comes to jeans and their price but these jeans above are priced at $108. Which (coming from AG prices) I think is a pretty good deal. I think that because I think they are just as good if not better than AG jeans. They wont stretch out/get baggy, they have a great shape and hold in your shape, are very stretchy and comfortable and are just super flattering!

They have 4 tried and true options of jeans so it's not super overwhelming in terms of what is great for you. I've only ever tried the Jane skinny but can promise it's legit! And they have a free home try-on program where you can test out your sizes without worry. They are TTS but if you are in-between sizes, I would size down!

Now in full transparency like I mentioned above, they sent me these jeans. But just like in 2016 they wanted to send them to me free of obligation. They have no idea I'm writing this post but I just needed to share it with you all. I cannot stop wearing these jeans.

  1. I actually agree with you, their jeans are GREAT. Love the way they fit on my curvier hips/tinier waist.

  2. I'm intrigued by the home try on option! Along with every other woman, I have a smaller waist but have to buy jeans in a size that will accommodate my butt/legs.. I'll definitely be looking into these!

  3. It stinks that it took 3 years for you to post about these jeans! It makes me wonder what else bloggers are actually using/loving but won't talk about because of affiliate links.

  4. I love your shoe shelf! What is the white piece layering two pairs per shelf, in the middle?

  6. The fact that you didn't post about them because you can't make money off it makes your recommendations seem really insincere. I understand making money off products you recommend, but you say AG Jeans are your favorite when they aren't. That is is just plain lying.

    1. Not totally but I get your point! That's why I wanted to be honest about it. I own 3 pairs of the AG Farrah jeans and they really are one of my favorites. I was just also wearing the mott and bow jeans I never talked about. You can see in my wear to work posts that I still really only wore my AG jeans: http://www.coveringbases.com/2017/11/what-i-wore-to-work-october.html
