Guys, I am in love with this dress. I'm not even sure where to start! I was really happy and proud of Julia for launching her dress collection. It's so great seeing people launch new companies out of their blog and it was perfect for her to dive into fashion! Up until this floral shirt dress I hadn't seen anything that truly resonated with my style, but you know I about fainted when I first saw it.

I have an obsession with shirt dresses and a love for anything blue and white, so to say this floral shirt dress is very "me" is an understatement. I originally ordered it in a size 6 and while it fit, if I sat down all the buttons would start to pull (not a cute look). Also, the underlining of the buttons is a different color, and you could see it was clearly pulling.

This dress has ZERO stretch to it so be aware when purchasing! I ended up returning the 6 for an 8 and that is what I'm wearing above. It fits great overall but dresses with no stretch in the sleeves are hard (think of scratching your back) but the overall look and feel of the floral shirt dress so far outweigh the cons.

The dress also has great pockets, buttons all the way down and comes with a really cute bow/necktie. I like the idea of it but the only way to wear the bow was to button the dress up all the way to the top and it felt a little tight for me. So I took a very small Swiss army knife to the edge of the stitch on the necktie (it was stitched on top of the dress itself under the back of the collar) and just pulled at the stitch. It came right off and you can't even tell anything was ever there!

I wore this floral shirt dress in Charleston at Caitlin's wedding rehearsal, again last week for work (with navy Chanel flats) and then again this weekend for my friend's bridal brunch! I can't wait to wear it more often. It will be a major staple for the summer!
