As much as I love to wear skirts and dresses, I'm a jeans girl. And I wasn't always this way! You have to really fall in love with a pair of jeans to become a jeans girl. More on that soon... (I'm doing a review of my all time favorite jeans) but until then lets talk about this work to weekend look!
From fall to early spring I'm layering. I layer for warmth or style and I'll do it all the time. My favorite item to layer with (this should be no surprise) is my Ralph Lauren oxford. I have -- no joke -- three of these shirts to rotate through and I buy a new one and toss a dingy one every couple years. They've been a staple in my closet since college and I don't know if that it will ever change.
My favorite thing to layer over the oxford? A sweater. Especially when it has buttons on the side! This is 110% a great item to wear now and later -- the perfect transition sweater. It's lightweight, SO soft and it's navy and white!
But one thing I really want to highlight in this post is my new bag. I was drawn to it because it looked like a designer bag and then REALLY drawn to it because it was SO affordable!! I love the navy (obviously) but I love the overall look and style of this bag. The gold rings are so cute, it has a long strap for everyday use and it comes with the cutest little zip pouch that you can take out and use on it's own. I'm not the biggest bad lady (I have my few favorites and thats it) but I'm so happy I purchased this. I carry it everywhere!!
