My New Sorrel Wedge Booties

Happy (rainy/foggy/dreary) Monday guys! Hope the weather is a little bit better than it is in New York because UGH the last thing I want to do in this weather is get up and go to work. But alas it is the offseason and there is so much to look forward to...

I think I can just about say this will be the last of fall on the blog. I mean, it's been a good run but once November 1st hit I was all aboard the holiday train. Thanksgiving and Christmas are my favorite times of year for so many reasons but one in particular (that pertains to you guys) is blog content. I LOVE capturing the holiday spirit in the city and showing off the best looks, the greatest steals and the cutest finds all for the holidays!

I wanted to thank everyone who filled out my holiday questionnaire (the winners have been emailed) it not only has put me in the mood for the season but has really helped me focus in on what you guys want to see (like casual holiday looks, work appropriate items, and TONS of gift ideas for your immediate family).

So as we bid farewell to fall, we can take one moment to talk about the outfit above. I wore this the other weekend exploring in Portland but I was actually hit with a nasty cold so the last thing I wanted to do in these photos was take photos. But I really just wanted to show off my new boots

These are my first pair of sorrel boots and I really really like them. I knew I wanted a cute (and warm) wedge waterproof boot for winter and these are it! They come in a TON of colors but I really liked this pair with the fur around the ankle. They are super easy to walk in and after a full day of being on my feet, I didn't hurt at all. I would just recommend to wear thick socks with them so they don't rub at your ankle.
