Don't know about you, but I LOVE an outfit that can transition well. From work to drinks -- it's a game changer for anyone who has a 9-5 and a social life.
If you remember, I recently mentioned I wore this outfit to work and to a friend's going-away party and got SO many compliments on it! Which I think is crazy because I am the queen of the A-line skirt/flowy top combo. I guess it just works for my body type!
I picked up both these items from the Nordstrom sale, and I have already found places for them in my closet. I've never really owned a skirt like this but I totally love it. It's one of those perfect items for spring, fall and the transitions in between. I don't know about you guys, but I have stopped buying summer clothes and I'm on the fall train. Here come some fun sweaters!!
As for this top, I had so many friends rave about it and now I totally get the hype! It's actually the most perfect white top to wear for any occasion. I have been known to stock up on pieces like this. I'm now debating what colors I need it in. Some colors and sizes are sold out, but Lush has similar tops HERE and HERE. And if we're being honest I can't even tell them apart. I think maybe one is longer and one has a pocket? Either way, you can't go wrong!
For sizing, I ordered my normal skirt size -- J. Crew size 6. If you've never ordered from J. Crew, they do run a size big IMO. For the top, I got my normal size M and it's very much TTS!
