October at a Glance

October at a Glance

Happy November! It's going to be a weird week but I hope I can bring some light to it! I urge you to vote tomorrow if you have not already.

October was ... stressful. I feel like that was really the best way to describe it. A lot of big things coming up, and the end of the year is always the busiest, but I'm looking forward to the holidays so I'm excited for what's around the corner. Here's a peek into my October from the photos on my phone that never made it to the blog.

I've been spending a LOT of time painting and stitching needlepoint in preparation for our restock in mid-November. Things are a little delayed, but I'm hoping to have a firm date soon! This is a new design -- a Friends inspired sleep mask that I am super excited about! I was playing around with colors to figure out what worked best.

Another addition to the launch this month will be an update to our Schitt's Creek BeBe sunglasses! I'm actually doing this as apart of a collaboration with Anne Fisher, who will be painting the background.

This was another option/tester for launch but I don't think it will happen in time. It is a real pain to paint and I don't know if I love how the chips look over the words so I need to stitch it to see. It's one of my favorite lines from New Girl.

Picking out threads for my canvases is one of the best parts. It's so fun to have a color really pop out at you!

This is just to show that even longtime needlepointers make mistakes!

I do this more than I like to admit... stitching in a different direction. But fun fact: these mini baAmboo scissors are perfect for cutting thread without harming the canvas. And please ignore my nails. I needed to paint them!

But once I got going, I had to say that this turned out to be one of my finest stitched projects ever. A little more time and love and it paid off! (this is the back!)

I basically wore this sweater dress all month long. It was the perfect oversized (but cute) dress!

This was a late arrival to October but BOY did it make an impact. When I'm lazy around the house, I've been LIVING in these pants. They are so soft and super warm

One of my favorite purchases that I have yet to wear out in the real world. It's back in all sizes!! Use code FUN15 fo 15% off your order

I really liked my mask/sweater combo this day so I had to document it.

This color is sold out sadly but this sweater is currently 30% off! Loving a good chunky knit crop.

There haven't been many chances to dress up like I have in years past for fall but I decided to go all-in for a trip up to my in-laws lol! I just love a good fall skirt look. Outfit details here.

I also probably wore this sweater more than I should have but I can't get over a chunky white turtleneck. There's something so classic about it. Outfit details here

I've had a bad habit of moving my clothes from the bed to the dresser to the bed to the dresser and so on. Just be aware that I'm not as tidy as one may think!

I was having a GREAT hair day here.

I've been trying a new thing with the Dyson and it's been working.

Forever grateful for this view. I love when the sunset reflects off the city like this.

We had some amazing Home Chef meals and this was one of my favorites. My sponsorship with them sadly ended but we've been keeping up with it from time to time!

Another document of my mess. I was actually cleaning up here and doing the "pile everything that's out of place together" method that always works well for me.

October at a Glance

TikTok taught me a new trick on how to easily cut a pepper and I will never be the same again lol.

We got in the ever-popular Always Pan and we are obsessed with it.

Andrew will have a full review on it coming soon!

I've started a new collagen and I've been really loving it. I had a sponsorship with them on Instagram but this post is not part of it! I mix it in with my juice, since I don't drink coffee or tea, and it's truly been working. My nails are stronger, my hair is shinier and I'm excited to see what else it will do.

I got a new brush and I have been loving it. Think of it like a wet brush but easier to clean. I was FED UP with the wet brush and the weird white little balls that get stuck on the bristles. Like what even is that?!

Some new earrings for the holidays from Lisi Lerch!

BaubleBar sent me these two really cute rings -- the gold buckle and the blue eternity band -- and I've been having a lot of fun mixing and matching them with different rings and outfits.

Over the past two weeks, we had some really bad weather but the weirdest was this night when the fog was a SHEET of cloud. You couldn't see anything out of our window at all! The apartment has never been darker.

My two favorite people.

And here's a picture of Dixie being extra cute snuggling on the pile of clothes on the bed lol.

And I will leave you with this picture from the weekend. Possibly one of my favorite pictures of her ever. Just hanging out with me at the table, seeing what's up lol.
