Ok someone tell me why moms are SO hard to shop for. I know some people think it's harder for the guys in your life, but seriously, mom's know what they want and get it themselves. It's hard to come up with ideas for things they didn't know they needed. For today's gift guide, I rounded up items I've bought the moms in my life (for Christmas and beyond) in hopes of helping you think outside the box!
For Mom Gift Guide
Both my mom and my MIL LOVE, and I mean love, their Tervis tumblers. Both of them have a pretty hearty collection and it's all they drink out of. It's actually pretty cute. So if your mom is anything like ours, she would probably like them too. They have a ton of different styles, motifs, sizes and color options to choose from. Or you could go the custom route and put a picture or fun words in the glass for her.
I got this for my mom roughly three years ago and it's one of her favorite things ever. She uses it daily and loves it for its power, the light weight, and the style. It's a more expensive gift, but one she is sure to use all the time. It would be great to team up with siblings to buy!
Moms love slippers and are always cold. I seriously recommend these slippers for everyone because they are that good. They're comfortable, have a good grip and will last a lifetime.
I'm gifting this to my MIL this year because she (like me) runs very cold and is always under some kind of blanket. Plus it won't hurt to also have a Chappywrap at their house for when I visit :) I'm hoping this will be the first year she actually uses what I give her lol. She's the hardest on our list to shop for!
Mark and Graham is like a one-stop shop for holiday shopping and I really have my eye on this organizer! It has a larger top zipper area for your makeup or toiletries, and then the bottom has storage and organization for your jewelry. It's kind of brilliant.
Another expensive item BUT my mom, cousin, and sister all love it and say that it helps them save time when getting ready, which is whats important when you're a mom :) I have yet to find someone who doesn't love this.
If your mom is looking for a new bag, I have friends who RAVE about MZ Wallace bags and how they hold a ton of stuff, are cute but functional, and how well they hold up. There are a ton of different sizes and colors, but I think this is my personal favorite.
Spruce up the nightstand with this really cute charging tray. Sometimes parents can be behind the times with electronics, which is where you come in. Show them the way to the future with cool items they might not have thought to get themselves. We're thinking outside the box here people!!
I wear my tennis bracelet every single day and this is something we actually gave to my mom on our wedding day. Something classic like this is usually a universal winner. I've tested out this exact bracelet and it holds up next to much more expensive ones. So this would be a good option if you're looking for something nice but don't want to totally drain your account.
I've said it once and I'll say it again (she knows lol), but I'm getting this for my mom this year for Christmas. We have the kitchen mat in our apartment and we adore it. It's not only cute but also supportive, easy to clean, and non-slip. Long gone are the days of ugly kitchen mats.
We are still on the fence if we want to gift this to my MIL or SIL but one of them is getting this pan. Andrew can't stop raving about it and he's not super excited about much other than Disney and beer lol so you know it's good. We've been using it every night for dinner and can't say enough good things about it. Truly a staple in the kitchen!
I gave these to my bridesmaids at the wedding and not only were they a big hit, but my MIL also ended up taking mine home!! She's the one who always runs cold so it made sense but she mentioned how great and warm of a wrap it was (and it is).
Custom Painted Wooden House
I was looking at this last year around this time and thought it was such a cool and unique gift idea. This Etsy shop makes custom wood block houses and it would be something very sentimental (like your childhood home) that might just be the perfect gift for your mom!
If your mom has an Apple watch, this would be the perfect little accessory to dress it up! I love the look of this band and how it's much more fashionable than what comes included in the box. Rebecca Minkoff and Kate Spade both make really cute and reasonably priced watch bands!
I also gave these to both moms on our wedding day to get ready in, and they both loved them. They are super, super soft, won't break the bank, and look just like their more expensive counterparts.
