Weekend Update: April 24

April sure did seem to fly by. I can't believe we only have a week left!! But I'm not complaining because it's better than the year-long March we had lol. I don't know about you, but I'm starting to settle into quite a routine now.

(my dress)

Five Items I Have My Eye On:
-20% off Manolo Blahnik shoes ... like the famous Hangisi flats and the popular BB pump
-YES, YES, and YES to this printed maxi dress. On sale for 30% off with code "5DAYS"
-This green floral dress is SO CUTE (and just $88). Plus an extra 15% off with code "FUN15"
-Absolutely adore these bath towels!!
-It's soooo expensive but I have ALL the heart eyes for this dress

Best Sale of the Week: My best selling New Balance sneakers are 25% off today! The discount applies at checkout so no code needed!

Weekend Plans: I finally have my (blank) needlepoint canvas, and I think I'm going to try my hand at painting!! We'll also watch some movies on our Best Picture to-do list. We haven't watched any all week because our next film is Titanic and it's three and a half hours long. The choice was either watch it broken up over two nights, or watch it over the weekend. Since Andrew has been on his Ozark binge, he decided it was best to wait until the weekend lol.

A Must Watch: The Last Dance! OMG If you haven't watched this yet WHAT IS YOU DOIN?! It's a 10-part (yes, 10) documentary on ESPN of Michael Jordan. They moved up the release date and the first two episodes aired last Sunday, back-to-back (just like Jordan lol). I was HYPED and ready for all of it to be released. It was so, so, so good I cannot wait for more. INJECT IT INTO MY VEINS.

A Must Read: The Death of the Department Store. While I'm not "in" fashion, I do keep up to date with the happenings. This article from The New York Times shed a pretty scary, but not surprising, light on the future of department stores. Obviously, a lot of businesses will be affected, but this just goes to show that it's happening to everyone. What I thought was interesting is that now is the time stores are buying for Q4 (the holiday season) and people are unsure if they can or if they should with how much the rest of the year is up in the air. It's a good read.

Most Popular Item of the Week: My new acne gel that I swear by! But it's sold out :( It's still in stock here if you're interested!

What Made Me Happy: The trailer for Elmo's "No-Too-Late" late-night show!! It looks so cute and honestly is a brilliant idea.
