One of my very favorite traditions of all time is this shoot with Andrew and Vineyard Vines. I always tell people that it never meant to turn into something that we'd do every year but I'm glad it's now "our thing." I feel like I say this every year, but I'm excited to look back on each year of these photos and have a chronical of our life together!
Just last year I was engaged and that was fun to show off in the photos but this year I'm married and it's kind of crazy! In a few years maybe this will be how we announce our pregnancy or our first family photoshoot! Maybe we'll have a dog and they can join in too... it's just things like that, that make these traditions so fun.
Outside of this, we don't have too many traditions. I guess our trip to Nantucket is one? We've gone every year we've been dating (and it's the only consistent vacation place). We also usually go away over New Years but that didn't happen last year (saving for the wedding) so I'm unsure if that's a true tradition! The only other thing I can think of right now is our ornaments. We like to collect them at every place we visit so that when we're older we'll have a tree full of memories!
Also, Andrew's beard is back! I totally forgot to mention that in our Cole Haan post together. I forget that you guys don't see him everyday lol. If you look back over the years you'll see Andrew all beard all the time. I even remember the first year he was clean-shaven so many people were like who dat haha. It's such an adjustment at first and just when I get comfortable with him looking one way he up and changes it! So what do you think? Andrew with or without a beard??
And just a little more about Andrew... he's gotten so good at taking photos! I think after this year, he's got it down with all the wedding/engagement/blog photos we've done. He used to have no idea how to pose/smile/take photos but, just like I say to everyone, do it enough and you will get the hang of it. Now... dare I say it... he's kind of photogenic!!
