Going apple picking is like the first "must do" on my list for fall -- even when the weather isn't cooperating! You'd never know it by looking at these photos but we were hot as hell in this outfit. When I was visiting Caitlin this past weekend, we drove up to some apple farms to pick some apples and take some photos. And boyyyyy was it much hotter than it was in New York.

But of course the photos turned out great and looking back we did have a fun day -- one we'll never forget!

I just couldn't help but break out some of the new things in my fall wardrobe that I've been dying to wear recently. Like this skirt (which is only $64) -- my love for fall (aka plaid) skirts continues and I have no regrets! It was also the first time I was able to wear this cashmere sweater from LL Bean (wearing a size small) and it might be one of my favorite sweaters I own.

I don't know why but I'm always on the hunt for a nicely made and well worn cable knit sweater. They are just needed for fall and winter. I especially love to layer them and even more so when I'm able to layer a frilly shirt underneath

And last but definitely not least are my bean boots!!! Just checked and they are fully in stock so be sure to order them before the weather turns bad and there is a 3 month wait time. And for those still reading and interested in bean boots for fall just take a peak at THIS pair. Black watch plaid lined insides!!! AH how cute are they?!
