The Color of Summer (and Fall!)

Am I even allowed to say the word fall in the middle of July?! I know it's craaaazzzyyyy but listen to my reasoning...

Elieen Fisher: Stretch Shell Shirt (similar) / Moon River: Belted Shorts / Ray-Ban: Tortoise Clubmaster / Hermes: Oran Slides (similar HERE and HERE) / Gucci: Soho Disco Bag (more affordable HERE) / Zara: Gold Earrings (old; identical HERE)

I've always associated the color olive with fall. But recently I feel like it's been popping up earlier and earlier each year and now it's kind of the color of summer. I've seen so many fun olive colored pieces out and about shopping that I kind of had to jump on the train.

Of course a good skirt can outweigh a pair of shorts any day but when you come across a good pair of non-denim shorts, you need to seize the opportunity. They don't come around often! But these shorts, I love for a ton of reasons.

A few being that they aren't tight (gotta support a good loose pair of shorts), they are high waisted, they have a stretchable waistband AND they have actual pockets. Down side is they wrinkle easy-- I mean these are steamed and walked around in after a couple of hours and turned out like the above.

Being such a versatile color, you can wear these now and later! I mean how cute would they be with a  baggy cream colored sweater for that transition season? Thankfully they are fully back in stock so be sure to grab a pair before they're gone!
