With fall finally here, I'm all in on #BeigeEverything trend. But in true Krista fashion, I can never say no to a little navy in the form of a gingham scarf to give it some extra color.
SHOP MY LOOK:
ASOS: Skirted Duffle Coat / Calypso St. Barth: White Top [old; similar here] / J. McLaughlin: Pleated Skirt c/o / Report: Lipton OTK Boots [similar] / Vineyard Vines: Blue Gingham Scarf c/o / Coach: Gramercy Satchel / Loren Hope: Sarra Cuff c/o / Nars: Matte Lipstick / Vintage: Brown Watch / David Yurman: Pearl Earrings / Mini Monogram: Necklace
I recently snagged this skirt from a blogger event with J. McLaughlin last week and I think I've already worn it a total of five times since. It's ridiculously comfortable and pretty great for fall. If you're like me, you often get bored with the jeans five-days-a-week routine. If so, this skirt is for you!
It's like a super soft sweater material and is great as a transition piece in your closet. I actually wore this look to work sans boots and jacket last week. I paired it with my cap toe Chanel flats (similar here) and a nice cashmere shawl for when it got chilly in the office.
But for the colder days, this is probably how I would wear it to the office and elsewhere. The boots are great for covering the rest of your legs on the cooler days and I'm just smitten over this jacket! I can't tell you how long I've been on the hunt for a camel colored jacket. I'm very particular when I know I want something and I must have tried on hundreds before I found this one.
It's really feminine with the skater skirt but a little trendy with the faux toggle front. It also has a hood for when it really gets cold and it kind of makes me feel like little red riding hood because it's so large and drapey haha.
Pair the whole look with a nice red lip and a gingham scarf (that is SO soft btw) and you have yourself a nice beige-y fall look! What do you all think?

DeleteI've been eyeing this coat ever since you posted about it but I'm wondering how warm it is. I live in Chicago so is this a fall time coat or can it handle the winter weather?
