If you've been following along, you know that I have a serious love (some might call it an obsession) with the J. Crew Fluted skirt in Double Crepe. I wore my first one here in Napa. Since then, the skirt has popped up in white twice (oh, and maybe a third time), green, blue, and pink (same as below). Not yet pictured is the black and navy blue. The pale citrus did show up on Instagram, but has yet to transition over here. I also may have the two new colors on the way. Whoops. What can I say? I really love these skirts. I'm not just trying to push them on you, I really feel this way. They fit my figure so well I really can't say no. They're great for work, going out, or even a little dressed down. Plus they're ON SALE right now. On sale + an extra 30% off with the code "SWEET." You're welcome. Buy them now.
Anyway, about this outfit. I wear these skirts to work all the time -- like the outfit below. I love to color block them, and my Calvin Klein shoes inspired this look. It showed me that pink and red can go so well together. The skirt is more on the pink side and the jacket is red. I love the way it turned out and I thought the two pieces complimented each other quite well. This outfit will be in a solid rotation.
