I think I may be testing my luck of finding things in New York, but man are there some major deals out there! These shoes are my first Manolo Blanik shoes. I would be lying if I said I didn't partly love them because of SATC, dang you Carrie Bradshaw! But what really had my attention was the scallop on the shoe. I'll be the first to admit I'm a sucker for a scallop. There's just something extremely feminine and just overall awesome about scallops. What was also great about these shoes was the price tag. Now, I know what you're thinking. I'm crazy, right? Let me explain. These bad boys were on the clearance rack at DSW. Not only were they on a regular clearance, but they also had a colored sticker on them! Um hellloooo I cannot say no to that! Sure, even with an amazing discount, they were still a little north of three numbers, but I can just starve for the week, right? Shoes first.
I wore this to work the other week and actually really enjoyed all the similarities in the outfit. The double dots surprisingly complimented each other. Maybe because they were different colors and sizes, but I defiantly like what's going on. I also really liked the pale pink necklace with the pale pink shirt. It was a way to dress up the look with a statement necklace but without having the necklace overwhelm the outfit.
