Olive Fall

Please make sure to read the title of this blog "i-luv-fall" when you read "Olive Fall." It's about as punny as I can get so I would appreciate the bad joke not going over anyone's head! kthxbye

I'm just going to come out and say it: I LOVE a good winter skirt. It seems like an oxymoron -- wearing a skirt when it's cold out -- but it's ok because it's wool. It's crazy, but in the best way possible. And I've said this before: a good skirt is hard to come by, but when it's done right they are a total jackpot.

Case in point: my new skirt. It comes in three other colors (waiting for a navy version ASAP) as well as a gingham print that you'll see on the blog next week. It's everything you want in a fall skirt and I love it. I tried very hard to limit myself to two colors so that's what I did.

For sizing, there is NO stretch and I would say it runs small for J. Crew standards (TTS for regular standards). I'm usually an 8 in bottoms but a 6 in J. Crew but the 6 was soooo short it didn't look right. Got the 8 and it fit like a glove. The zipper is on the left hip and it goes about 5 inches down. It also has two pockets (that come sewn shut) in the front (not at the hips) that I don't love but will deal with by keeping them sewn shut. My skirt sits right below my belly button.

Another item to mention here is the sweater. You know I l-o-v-e my navy one and I love it so much that I went back for another one but stumbled upon the green version and was all in. Olive for fall? Yes please! Linking the sweater up I also saw it in grey sooooo I might need that as well. Idk... I'm not kidding when I say I love this thing!
