Color Block Large Scarf and Burberry Bowpark Raincoat

Color Block Large Scarf, Burberry Bowpark Raincoat

I wore this look to brunch with Katie the other weekend (the last weekend I was actually in NYC). The sun was out but man was it cold! I've said it before, but I love to take blog photos when my outfit is weather appropriate. This winter, long coats have been a saving grace. You never really know how much you need them until you don't have them and your butt gets cold.

I'm also really into this new scarf (can also be found here). It's so thick that there is zero chance of any harsh wind going through it (which is very important in the city). But really, this is just an everyday throw on and go out outfit for the winter days. All the layers really help! (gloves not pictured)

  1. That scarf is PERFECT! Gotta love when a scarf is functional and fashionable, because frankly, it's too cold not to wear one these days.

  2. Love your high sock idea! I had a hard time finding a pair of OTK boots that I felt were flattering on me!
