An MLB team playing their home games at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C. Their colors are red, navy blue and white. The franchise was originally located in Montreal, Canada, before moving to the United States capital in 2005. They have never played in the World Series, and have reached the postseason once (2012) since moving to Washington.
We are in our second-to-last week (eek!) of my "What to Wear to a Baseball Game" series. If you've been following along, great. If not, you better get on it. Today's post is all about the Nats. Hopefully when you wear this to a game it will be weather-appropriate. I thought we were really over all this cold weather in New York, but I was wrong. Humph! It was supposed to be warm on Sunday (when Tracy and I took these pictures) but it was a frigid 50 degrees. So excuse my very cold (and pale) goosebumped legs.
Normally I would wear this to a baseball game when it's warm. It's perfectly laid back but trendy. The sneaks are making a comeback, people! You know what is also making a comeback in my closet? This Abercrombie and Fitch jacket. Yea I said it … the A-and-F word. I've only had this bad boy since middle school. Back then it was my pride and joy. Today it's a staple for my summer wardrobe. We'll all just ignore the fact that I can't button it over my post-pubescent body (aka my boobs … I'm allowed to say boobs on here, right?) Last time I was in DC I actually walked around the city in these sneakers. They served me well then and I'll never forget it. So when I go back for a Nationals game I'll be sure to pack these. (Fingers crossed I'll be able to see a bunny bodyslam the running of the Presidents.)
