What's Your Favorite Mattress?

If you are passionate about your mattress, now is the time to let me know! I am in the market for a new mattress and I need your help to pick the right one.

What's Your Favorite Mattress? 

Andrew and I have decided to finally get a new mattress, and -- wow -- who knew it would be so confusing out there? There are so many options, and we can't actually test any of them out. It's a lot. We currently love our mattress -- it's comfy but firm -- but I have no idea who made it or where I even got it. I know I was definitely with my mom when I bought it, but that's where my memory ends lol.

There's nothing wrong with our mattress, we do still love it, but we really want a king-size bed and that's the reason for the switch! There is nothing more luxurious than sleeping in a king-size bed with SO much room to sprawl out and starfish -- aka my go-to sleeping position. This year I feel like the bed has been a safe place to get away from it all. It's my personal sanctuary. That's why it needs to be perfect.

There are people out there who leave reviews, and then there are people out there who read them. I am the latter. I base almost all my non-clothing purchase decisions on the reviews of others. People I know, reports, websites, friends, family. If you tell me something is good, I'm all in. I'm easily influenced. 

So that is why I'm coming to you for help. 

I need to know what kind of mattress we should be looking into. I've been doing some research and of course all the big names popped up: Casper, Sleep Number, Tempurpedic, and some other heavy hitters like Tuft and Needle, Purple, Sealy, and most recently, Avocado. 

I read about five different reports and articles saying Avocado was the best mattress of 2020 and before that moment, I had never heard of them. But since I love Consumer Reports and annual best-of lists, they're currently a front runner. Some call-outs from the brand I really have enjoyed: they're made in the USA, all-natural and eco-friendly. While I'm not totally green in my life, I do want to make a conscious effort with purchases moving forward to make sure we're helping save the planet!

And the more I read about them, the more I really like them. My YouTube page is now filled with Avocado review guides lol. But I don't know anyone who has one so I need your advice. Have you heard about them? Do you like them? Do you have another mattress brand you're passionate about? Please let me know!!
