Lecco, Italy

Another day another 5,000 calories consumed. We should really call this the eating tour of Italy with breaks to only pet animals (lot of time for that) and sleep (little time for that). But we're having an amazing time so far can't wait to share more below!

We started off our day by taking the train to Lecco and hopping on a bike tour. The first half of the tour was awesome. We rode along the water and up into this tiny village where we stopped for some cheese, meats and prosecco. Everything about the village was charming and delicious (the cheese here lives up to they hype). As for the rest of the ride, it didn't live up to its billing of a "food and bike tour" so I wouldn't recommend it. But the views were incredible!

After that, we came back to Varenna (where we were yesterday) and walked around town some more. We had a delicious bite to eat right on the water (the food here is unreal) and then had a much-needed stop for gelato. I got strawberry and yogurt and Andrew got dark chocolate and banana. Then we kept making our way through town until we decided to head home.

We're currently watching season three of Narcos on Netflix and playing cards. It's nice to relax and spend some fun time together that we wouldn't normally get at home. We have decided to make a habit of playing cards more often -- even though the score is currently 6-1 me.

Tomorrow we'll make our way to another town nearby but I'm most looking forward to sleeping in. I neeeeeeed some rest. I've never had such bad bags under my eyes. Time change is no joke guys!
