We're officially halfway through 12 Days of NYC Christmas! Today (Day 7) we're sharing a favorite restaurant to visit: Rolf's. This place is THE Christmas destination in the city and after scrolling through these photos, you'll see why!
A ROLFS CHRISTMAS
It takes Rolfs seven weeks to decorate the place fully and they keep it up for almost half of the year. I don't know exactly why they started this tradition of decorating, but I'm sure glad they did. Rolfs looks like it threw up Christmas and I love every second of it.
I must say that Rolfs' popularity comes from the decor and not as much the food. We had a couple of apps and it was OK. So if you're looking to go, make sure to go for a drink and a good time. I think the ideal way to do it would be to meet up with some friends for a drink tat Rolfs before dinner.
But plan ahead! Rolfs gets crazy during the holiday season. Andrew and I went early enough in the year to see the decor and get a spot to eat but when I tried going with Courtney the other day, it was a 2.5 hour wait. Eeek! I mean it took us 15 minutes just to try and get into the door.
So plan ahead, make reservations and enjoy Rolfs' amazing decor!! If you're looking for another festive restaurant in the city with better food, make sure to stop by Serendipity 3!
