I have a confession to make and it's a messy one. Well, technically I'm the messy one but still! I might have one of the messiest roommates of all time: my cat! Talk about hair everywhere. Am I right, fellow cat ladies?
While I love my kitty (Dixie), she sheds ALL the time. Even in the winter when she's supposed to be "bulking up." Nope. Nada. And in my small studio apartment, hair gets everywhere. It's especially hard to have calicos because she's all three colors so no matter what you're wearing, she is bound to show up!
I love her to death though, she's my very best gal! She even likes to travel with me. I will be on the opposite coast and still find her hair on my clothes. It's pretty impressive that no matter where I go she is with me!
It's extra hard (especially with cats) to have their hair not go everywhere. The only other alternative is to get a hairless cat and nobody wants that (not even Rachel from Friends!). Cats are all over the place: the kitchen, the bathroom, the living room... you name it, they've been there. So when they shed all over the place it's time to break out the big guns and start a'cleaning.
I'm prettttyyyy lazy when it comes to cleaning so the less work the better and the more "all-purpose" the best. I've tried a few items that work here and there but I really need to get it all away and find something that works for every surface of my place.
So to switch things up, I tried out Fantastik to get the job done. I started first in the kitchen where all my messes form and it worked great on all my non-porous surfaces: the counter, the microwave, the stove… etc.
So then I started to think of other things I could start to clean. It was nice because it got me thinking outside the box and I started cleaning my shelves, my desk and my TV stand.
When I had cleaned about all I could, I went to watch TV (like any person would after 15 minutes of cleaning #duh)!
Check out the results for yourself and let me know what you think! Feel free to share your cleaning confession!
