Hi there! My name is Alyson Haley and I am the little lady behind the style blog, Sequins & Things.  It was launched in February of 2013 after my Instagram inadvertently became the place where I put my creative love of styling on display and I was constantly answering the question, "Where'd you get that?". Ask any of my friends and they will tell you that I am not one that craves attention, so I still think it's a little ironic that I have a blog, but it was the practical next step. Time has provided me some much needed comfort in this, and it has become my favorite place to showcase my love for sequins ... and [all] things [pretty]! Be sure to check it out, and follow along on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest

I don't know about you, but there are some quite a few items in my closet that I can just never seem to let go. This dress is one of them [last seen here]. I bought it probably about five years ago. I just love its sassy, yet ladylike, appeal and versatility. This time, I decided to spice it up with my new fun floral heels and a bright clutch! I mean it is summer time, so why not brighten things up, right?

How are you brightening up your wardrobe staples for summer? Do tell!

With love and sequins,
