Pennant race:
The competition to win the regular season championship in a baseball league.

The building I work in just so happens to have an Anthropologie on the bottom floor. Dangerous? Of course. Helpful? Always. On my way to work one day I ended up spilling something all over the front of my shirt (go figure) and it was too late to turn back. Thankfully I just swooped in to the Anthro store and bought this shirt! I didn't even really have time to try it on, but I knew I loved the sleeves on this! It just so happened to work out perfectly. So maybe that store is a blessing in disguise--- just not to my bank account. To set the cost of the shirt, I paired it with these wonderful Tory Burch heels that I bought from a resale shop here in NYC. It's called Buffalo Exchange and it is heaven on earth. Sure it's hit or miss sometimes, but it's all worth it when you finally find that amazing deal!

To win the pennant or flag, a major league baseball team must first win enough of the 162 games in the regular season to reach the playoffs. Then it must win the league division series (LDS) and the league championship series (LCS).
