One of my new favorite places in the city to explore is Tribeca/Financial District. The city is putting in such an effort to really build up the area and I'm loving every second of it. Excited to share more below about my day downtown!

It's so chill down there and it's so up and coming that it's really the place to be. I took my niece here when I was babysitting and it was my first time in. I liked it so much I made Andrew go back with me the following weekend! I really wanted to go ice skating on their rink outside but when we went it was filled with little kids and it was pretty terrifying haha.
So instead we decided to hit up the lunch spots in the mall and really had a great experience. It was a little weird at first because it was just one big area where you seat yourself and order from any of the 5+ restaurants surrounding you. I got a steak and fries from the butchery and it was SO good. A little overwhelming the first time but everyone there is super helpful so they can show you the way! This place is totally a hidden jem.
But I was able to stop in at J. Crew and snag this new trench coat. GUYS I love this thing! Of course the gingham lining really sold me but I mean... come on! This thing is TOO cute. I'm seriously debating getting it in red. Thoughts??
I'm also sporting my new Ugg boots! I swore off Uggs in high school but I really think they've made a come back. That and I just love the look of the lace up ones. The best part about them though is that they're completely waterproof. How amazing is that?? They've officially become my new snow boot!
