Hello to Day Three of my "12 Days of New York City Christmas" series (see Days One and Two here). Since we've kicked the series off with two hotels I thought it was only fitting to keep with the theme. Today of course we're talking about THE New York City hotel: The Plaza.

J. Crew: Black Watch Flannel Regent Topcoat (more sizes & colors here) / J. Crew: Cambridge Cable Turtleneck / AG: Jegging Jeans / Ash: Jasmin Bootie / BareMinerals: Marvelous Moxie Lipstick / David Yurman: Onyx Ring / David Yurman: Pearl Earrings
You can't mention New York City hot spots without talking about The Plaza. It's famous for all the right reasons that all lead back to the beauty and elegance of the hotel. Like, wow. The location, the decor, the service, the architecture -- everything goes into making it the best hotel in the city.
I had never been to the Plaza for Christmas so I was really excited to see what they did for the season. It was pretty much filled with Christmas trees behind every corner and all the gold and bow decor you could image. I was in heaven.
For this holiday look, I thought I would keep it more casual (but classy of course). I ordered yet another one of these J. Crew turtlenecks. They're actually the best. I also scored this plaid regent blazer and I'm OBSESSED with it.
Not only am I obsessed with the plaid (because... duh it's plaid) but I really, really love the fit of this jacket. I have the blazer version which lead me to the coat. It fits so unbelievably well (I'm wearing a size 6) and it just looks so expensive and elegant. Perfect for The Plaza!!

Everything about this post is gorgeous! I was able to go to NYC on New Year's day this year and managed to still be able to see all the beautiful Christmas decorations that were up! I def need to add The Palace to my list next time I go visit New York!
