Has anyone else gone Christmas tree shopping this year? I've already been to two farms this year and still only own a mini pre-lit faux tree. Go figure...

When I was in Charlotte this past week, Caitlin and I decided to drive up into the mountains in search of a true Christmas tree farm. We found the cutest place up in Little Switzerland. It was closed for the day but the owner (who was so sweet) let us wander around and snap some photos.
Caitlin and I both ended up wearing our red Hunter boots for the adventure and thank goodness we did! The ground was so soft and mushy that we were dragging dirt all over the place (just like my last fir farm adventure). Other than that, it was the most perfect day. There were no clouds in the sky and a brisk, crisp air. My flannel shirt and cashmere scarf were exactly what I needed!
Today I'm off to Chicago for Thanksgiving. So excited to see my parents and our new house!!
