Hope everyone had a splendid weekend! They always seem to go by a little too fast, right? This past weekend I was in Brigantine for some needed time at the beach. One of the best spots in the town is Richman's Ice Cream (where I am in these photos).
When I wasn't in a bathing suit on the beach, I was in this outfit. These shorts are a new addition to my ever growing closet. I saw the polka dot + bow action and I knew I wanted them. Then I saw the price tag (only $38) and they were mine!
They're junior's shorts which made me a little hesitant but I'm usually a medium/large in pants depending on the style and I choose the large and they fit great! They are perfect around my smaller waist and hug in all the right places around my larger butt. They also have a little stretch so that's always nice.
Pairing the shorts of course, with my favorite white shirt for summer. I can't tell you how much I wear this shirt on a weekly basis. For reals, I'm debating ordering it again so I can have a backup! Is that crazy? You all last saw this shirt on my bike ride in NYC and eating ice cream. I LOVE IT!
I also seemed to have gone with some retro vibe here-- but I totally blame the red lips / sunglasses combo. This is the first official time you're seeing these sunnies on the blog (instagram photo here) but it won't be the last. I tracked these bad boys down after borrowing Olivia's for a week (she forgot them in my procession).
