From Office to Airport: Travel Outfit styled by popular New York fashion blogger Covering the Bases

I feel like I've gone in spurts of traveling lately and it's either every single weekend back to back or like a month off -- there is no in between! So I wanted to share a cute work and travel outfit today since it's been what I've been living in.

Because we try and make the most of our weekends, we'll usually take a half day on Friday and head to the airport from work. And since our more formal office is on the east side (and close to the airports) I have to find a way to dress appropriately for the office as well as comfortable for travel.

And this the work and travel outfit we get! These pants I have talked about A LOT before. They are tied for my favorite work pants ever because they are basically like leggings with pockets so they're official. They are so unbelievable comfortable and easy to wear with anything. I have them in black and navy although (of course) I reach more for the navy on a daily basis.

The great thing too is that they're usually always on sale. Today they're only $35! For sizing, I'm normally an 8 but because they are so stretchy and because they do give a little after wear, I got a 6 and they fit like a dream.

Also of course your feet need to be comfortable and there is nothing more that I love than a good Chanel flat. They are worth the investment and are plentiful on places like eBay (where I get most all of my flats). Once you find your size you are good to go. I have like three different variations of blue flats lol.

Then of course the top of the hour... this new Lilly Elsa top! The print is to die for and every single time I wear it I'm always asked where its from and get compliments on it. It's one of those printed/bright tops but also something that shouldn't ever go out of style -- it's a classic! I need more items in this print please!
