To be totally honest, Andrew and I don't really celebrate Valentine's Day. It's a day to celebrate your love for one another and -- while it's going to be *super* corny to say -- we try to do that everyday. We also don't need to exchange gifts since we have just about everything we could need and we are trying to cook in more so there's no need for a big fancy (and crowded) dinner.

I guess it also helps to mention that his birthday is usually the weekend after Valentine's Day and I always go way too big for that. Last year I took him to Dublin and this year I'm surprising him with another trip -- but this time it's a surprise! I actually am not telling him where we're going until we get to the gate. We'll see how it goes!

Really February 14th is just another day to me personally but I always love a good excuse to wear pink or red! I also just got these sunglasses in and I am O-B-S-E-S-S-E-D. I mean at $10 they are a total steal!!

But if you are looking for some inspiration for what to get/give, I personally love these items below!

-Invisibobble Hair Ties ($8) -- I haven't worn a regular hair tie in MONTHS and my hair is thanking me for it!

-Heart Sunglasses ($10) -- I have them in pink and black and are such a better deal than the $400 Saint Laurent ones! Also, love amazon #duh

-TP-Link Smart Plug ($24) -- We use these in our apartment to put lights on a timer/schedule, to connect through Amazon Alexa (tell her to turn them on or off) and via the app. Such a fun invention that you didn't know you needed.

-Amazon Dot ($39) -- Love my Alexa and a good starter option is the Echo Dot. It's on sale too!

-Signet Ring ($118) -- Andrew got me this for Christmas and I haven't taken it off since! I love it so much and for a good signet ring, it's a steal!

-Monogram Necklace ($140) -- You already know this is my ride or die everyday jewelry item. Haven't taken it off in 5+ years! I have the mini 14k gold with a 16" chain.
