http://www.coveringbases.com/2017/09/weekend-update-september-29.html

Happy Friday! Off for another weekend getaway to visit my family this weekend before staying put for the month due to the postseason! Read below about what made my week so great (but also so busy)!

Shopping:
Pearl drop earrings
- New AG jeans!
- A cream sweater for fall
- Fun new sunglasses
- The perfect blazer for work
- A new barbour jacket (duh)

Reading: I just finished The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo and LOVED it. Now I'm about to start reading The Silent Girls and I'm really excited!

NYC Life: Not much on the home front this week because I've been staying late at work gearing up for the postseason! I did (if this is exciting or not) get my nails done at the best place in the city for SNS/Dip nails: Eva Nails. It's on 49th and 1st and they do the BEST job on dip. Plus they have all the colors you could ever want. It's my favorite place!

Weekend Plans: Andrew and I are off to Atlanta to celebrate my niece's 2nd birthday! We'll be spending time with my parents and my sister and her husband. We also have it on the books to see John Mulaney on his new tour Saturday night!!

Most Popular Item This Week: This plaid mini skirt (perfect for fall)

Favorite Finds:
A fringe sweater!!
The perfect fall scarf
This wool plaid mini skirt is to DIE for!
A plaid quilted vest
Cable knit that will be a classic
A turtleneck that you'll need for fall

Song of the Week: Chance dropped a new song on Colbert this week!!!!

A Must Watch: Jenna Marbles did a video watching her compilation videos and it had me in tears it was so funny.

A Must Read: Twitter is testing a 280 character limit and people aren't sure what to say about it.

Amazon Purchases:
The same top I'm wearing above but in white
Quilted vest for fall
Riding boots that look like a million bucks
Loafers that are IDENTICAL to Gucci for a fraction of the price
And two new dresses for work! ONE / TWO
