I always have such a great time at Saratoga each year. I feel like I experience something new every time. This time around I felt like a total pro and knew the odds and ends of everything!
I didn't bet any races this time but I did help Andrew make lots of bets. When he didn't listen, my prediction won and when he did, my prediction lost. It's a cruel world out there folks.
The people at America's Best Racing (like always) were so fun to hang out with and extremely knowledgeable about everything. I swear they have one of the coolest jobs. They go to the track year-round and introduce people to the joys of horse racing.
Some people might look at horse racing as a place where gamblers go to waste the day and drink, but it really is so much more than that. It's a social event (at least to me) where you dress in your Sunday best and get your friends together.
We all know I love Camilyn Beth (who is having a huge sale right now) dresses. If you remember, I wore her to Derby two years ago! I thought what better way to get dressed up for the races than with her help. And this dress is to die for! The scallops and the structure of it? Ohhhh my. Yes.
It was the perfect addition to my Saturday at the track and while we didn't win a ton of money, I sure did feel like $1,000!
