NYFW Day 6

Here we are, at my Day Six of Fashion Week recap. Today was for sure my busiest day of the week. I think it honestly was just good timing. Having everything jam-packed in a day helped. I went to work in the morning and took a half-day. Here's what I wore:
What to Wear to New York Fashion Week
Dress ($39 -- just hit USD in the top left corner) (also here)

After work, it was off to the Cynthia Rowley (see her collection here) preview. I was invited to go ahead of time and hang out with the Birchbox crew backstage before the show. It was amazing talking to everyone and seeing how they prepare!

I was also able to preview the complete look before the doors opened and I'm so thankful for that! When the doors opened, it was like floodgates. Hundreds of people immediately filled the room and I found my way out. But the collection was amazing and I was able to chat briefly with Cynthia and tell her what a lovely show it was.
New York Fashion Week

After the event in SoHo, I snagged an Uber (use p3ncd to get your first ride FREE!) and ventured uptown (in horrible traffic) to the Panasonic Beauty Bar (check out last year's video here). It was the perfect way to spend my afternoon and the best way to recharge for the day ahead. I booked a blowout, which I love, and was greeted with wine and celebrities! I mean, so many people were there. Very fun experience.

Before…
After...

I was also gifted the tools they used for my blowout, which included the Nanoe Hair Dryer and the Nanoe Flat Iron! (Little did they know I was in the market for a new straightener!) I was running a little late to my next appointment, but I can't ever say no to a photo booth!

Then it was off and running (literally) to see my favorite Texas girls, Kendra Scott! They had the most beautiful little showroom in Midtown and I was so happy to catch up with all of them while they were in town. I was also trying to convince them to open a store in the city, but alas I will have to wait and just shop online :)

We were able to check out their new collection (I loved all the black iridescent colors)...

…while also previewing what's to come!! Y'all, they have the COOLEST stuff coming up. I was loving the midi rings for sure:
Alex and I booked our appointment together!

After Kendra, I had about 20 minutes to go home, eat, change and leave. I couldn't find a cab for the life of me so I speed walked all the way home (thank god for my flats!) with huge bags from the previous events. I was literally New York's worst nightmare: A girl running late during Fashion Week. When I got home, I ate some leftovers, changed and ran out. Whew!

I was so excited to break out this dress (that had arrived a day late for the rS party… ugh) for the Lucky and Movado party.
Dress ($161)

Every year during Fashion Week, this is by far my favorite event. The people at Lucky are so sweet and always a blast to talk to and I LOVE Movado watches! Plus, it doesn't hurt that the food is always amaaazzzzinnggg! This year, of course, was no different. Here is a traditional cab selfie...

It was my B for not taking a ton of photos. It was dark and I was relaxing, eating (almost a whole steak from how many little bites I stole), getting my nails done and catching up with friends! I did manage to snap this photo when there was still some light left. This was the watch I picked out for the event. I have to admit it was between this simple yet elegant rose gold watch or this all black with colored stripe one. I already had a black Movado so I decided to go with the rose gold and I'm so happy I did! I LOVEEEEE it!
Watch ($495 c/o) // Dress ($161)

And that was my Tuesday! I had a blast but I'm glad Fashion Week is over. I love to be busy, but my feet need a break. That and I'm having West Wing withdrawals… #nbd

I'll be back tomorrow with the always-hilarious Snapchat story from Fashion Week!
