REVEL

Road Trip:
A sereis of road or away games

Last weekend, Andrew and I decided to go to Atlantic City for a night. I had never been and he really loves it there so we packed our things and were off to Jersey! This was my first time to New Jersey and it was surprisingly a fun trip. It's only 2 1/2 hours from the city... so it was the perfect weekend trip. Sometimes you really just need to take a break and get out of the city. We stayed at Revel Resort and Casino and we couldn't have asked for a better time. I wanted to share about the trip and the hotel in this post, so here we go!

To start, the room itself was great! Very clean and new (as is the rest of the hotel), and very well decorated! It was a nice change of pace from my little studio apartment. (Honestly it was probably the same size... minus the huge bathroom!)

The best part though was our view! (Only if it wasn't freezing out)

We checked in around seven that night and went straight to dinner at Lugo (we were very hungry). Lugo was the Italian restaurant in the hotel and it was amazingggggg. Very good food and even better wine! After closing the place down, we headed to the main floor.

I'm not one for gambling (I like to throw away my money on clothes), but we had a good time! The floor was huge-- so many options for games!

We spent the next day exploring the hotel (it's huge) and I snapped a few pictures of my favorite places! This was the side lobby right next to the elevators. I loved the built-in bookshelves and the fun pop of color behind it. Gives me good ideas of a future home-- let's hope it's this nice!

Next was the actual lobby, I loved all the natural light and how modern it was! I've never met a floor to ceiling window that I don't like.

There's also a fun fire pit out this way (but was obviously out of commission for the winter).

What I really loved about the whole hotel was the views! Since the hotel is right on the beach, every window you looked out had the most spectacular views. Even if it was winter...

To give you an idea of how big this place really is, heres a look out over the casino/shopping/food places. I mean this was all below the rooms and the actual hotel...

Snapping pictures of Andrew snapping pictures...

As for the rest of the hotel, there are a lot of little shops and food places. On top of all of that, there are also a thousand and one couches/sitting areas.

Each room also had a theme, this room (not pictured) was like an old library. There were these dark chocolate leather couches with fun (I call them 'egg') chairs and a picture of books behind them.

All in all, we had a really amazing time! The hotel was great, the service was wonderful and it was a a great little getaway for a night. We will for sure be back soon! Fingers crossed it'll be warmer :)
